Travel to connect
My third culture experience being Dutch-born North African with family all over meant it was inevitable I would pack my bag and seek connection with others like me. Travel is like my oxygen. The only way I want to understand people is through meeting as many as I can from diverse places.
Holding onto craft
In the depths of a small, Yorkshire town was 17 year old me who studied Art at high school. I eventually came across Arabic calligraphy and traditional art from the Middle East. I have been practicing Arabic calligraphy ever since.
